Sand

Getting good sand free from organic impurities and salts is very difficult in now a days. While adding the sand to the mix, it should be free from organic and inorganic matters. And the sand should be in uniform size ie., all the sand particles  should be fine. So a sieve analysis was done and the sand, which is passing through 1.8mm was collected and used in the project. Fig. 5 shows the sieve analysis.
